Street Games and Pizza Event

During the Summer Holidays, Penlan Neighbourhood Policing Team alongside Pobl held a ‘Street Games & Pizza’ event in Cwm Cadle, Portmead.

Following an increase in anti-social behaviour, PCSOs have been working with partner agencies to try and support individuals and tackle issues in the area.

PCSO Holly Palmer successfully applied for Pobl Community Chest funding which allowed her to set up an event where the local Neighbourhood policing team and Pobl were able to interact with young people and build relationships in a relaxed, informal environment.

The event was a great success: the young people that attended were receptive, and parents/carers got involved too. PCSOs will continue to work with partner agencies and hope to continue these kinds of events in the future.
