Waldhof Recycling Event
On August 1st, the Penderi Regeneration and Pobl Neighbourhood Housing teams hosted a fantastic recycling event at Waldhof Court, partnering with the Community Farm’s playscheme in Muddy Park. Families took part in litter picking, clothes swapping, and chatted with the team.
Meanwhile, the kids had a blast playing hook a duck, winning prizes, and sharing their thoughts on recycling and rubbish reduction.
Their ideas were inspiring! Amongst other things they suggested:
Creating signs around the area to raise more awareness
Adding more bins
Organising more rubbish pick-ups
Learning more about recycling
It was a day full of fun, sun, learning, and community spirit.
